About Our Services

Dilden Bros. Well Drilling does well and pump work all around Lafayette and the Indiana towns nearby, for homes and farms and businesses, for municipalities, and for the occasional job that doesn't fit a category.

We've been a family outfit since 1932, and folks keep calling us back because we tell them the truth and fix what we said we'd fix. Water acting up, a new system going in, an old one that needs help, we're who you call.

New & Existing Homes

New & Existing Home

A good home water system starts with a plan. Doesn't matter if you're building new, swapping out something that's worn through, or just tweaking what you have. The well, pump, pressure tank, water lines, and treatment equipment all have to get along, and getting them to is the whole job.

Homeowners call us for new residential wells, for pump installation and tank service, for inspections, for pressure problems and water line work, for chlorination, well cleaning, troubleshooting. If it moves water through a house we've probably worked on it. Water conditioning is its own subject though, so if that's what you're after, go here.

Got a place that already has a well? Then you've probably lived through pressure that drops for no reason, flow that gets weak, a pump that cycles like it can't make up its mind, or water that just seems off. We can hunt down the cause. Small repair or big overhaul, you get a straight answer and work that holds up.

Agricultural Applications

Agricultural Applications

A farm well never gets an easy day. Livestock drink every morning, outbuildings want supply, washdown areas run hard, and it all piles up in the same season.

We plan, install, repair, and improve farm water systems. Flow, pressure, pump and tank sizing, where the lines should go. We figure all of that out before anybody drills. Skipping that step is how you end up digging twice.

Some of what we do for farms: livestock water systems, farm wells, outbuilding water supply, high-demand pump systems, pressure and flow troubleshooting, water line service, and repairs and upgrades for aging farm systems.

We can help with all of it, and what we build stays built.

Irrigation Wells

Irrigation Wells

Irrigation wells are won or lost in the planning. You have to know the flow you need, the pressure, how the seasonal use swings, what the ground itself demands. Get the sizing wrong and a system that handles light duty fine comes up short once irrigation season hits and demand stays high week after week.

We plan and support irrigation wells for farms, businesses, and property maintenance. The homework comes first: water demand, pump capacity, pressure, site conditions, how the layout runs. It's boring, some of it, but that's how the well you end up with keeps up.

Adding capacity, replacing worn-out equipment, chasing a system that's fallen behind. We'll help you figure out the right next step.

Geothermal Applications

Geothermal Applications

Geothermal comes down to two things: what's underground, and whether the installation was done right. These jobs live or die on the drilling side. You need the right rig, a real read on the ground you're standing on, and a crew that knows how the loops fit the rest of the design.

Drilling experience and a real read on the site, that's our lane. So we work with homeowners, contractors, and property owners to get the drilling side right, and to keep it coordinated with whatever the rest of the system needs.

Got a geothermal project in the works? Bring us the plans and we'll look over the drilling side with you before anyone commits to anything.

Municipality Support

Municipality Support

A public water system doesn't get to have an off day. People depend on it before sunrise and after dark. So when a municipality or a public facility needs help with wells, pumps, water supply troubleshooting, inspections, repairs, improvements, anything on that list, we treat the job like the water has to stay on. Because it does.

And when we do the work, town water keeps flowing and nobody gets disrupted more than they have to be. We start with the problem, look at what the system needs, then lay out a practical path forward.

Municipal well? Pump trouble? Pressure all over the place? Questions about supply? That's decades of local experience you're getting when you call Dilden Bros.

Service Built For Your Water System

Dilden Bros. has been at it around Lafayette since 1932. A single farmhouse well, or every pump, tank, and water line a farm, a business, or a whole town depends on. We've drilled, serviced, and troubleshot the lot.

Nobody uses water the same way. The house in town wants steady pressure every morning. A few miles out, a farm is working to keep livestock and outbuildings supplied. Irrigation ramps up hard when the season turns. A town system just needs to run, quietly, all year. Tell us how your water gets used and we'll work from there.

A typical service call covers:

  • Identifying pressure, flow, or pump problems

  • Reviewing the well, pump, tank, controls, and water lines

  • Helping plan repairs, replacements, upgrades, or new installations

  • Supporting residential, agricultural, commercial, irrigation, geothermal, and municipal applications

  • Explaining what was found and what to watch for over time

New system, an upgrade, water that's gone strange on you. Whatever brought us out, you'll hear what we found in plain words, and we stand behind what we fix. Practical recommendations. Work built to last.

That's Dilden Bros. in a nutshell. Dependable water starts here.
